With the Mi 5 scheduled for a February 24 release, the company has given us plenty of hints on what to expect from the device. A new revelation made by the company’s co-founder and President Lin Bin is giving us a glimpse of what the handset’s camera can do.
The images are not available in full high-res quality at the moment, so it’s difficult to get a better understanding of its true performance. However, it does tell us that the device will indeed have a decent camera on board.
While leaks have suggested that the Mi 5 will have a 16MP camera on board, there hasn’t been any concrete word on that front. Keeping this in mind, we will have to wait until the 24th of February to learn what kind of sensor will be packing with the device. For the time being, we know that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be sporting a Snapdragon 820 processor underneath, 3 or 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It was originally believed that the Mi 5 would have a Quad HD display panel on board, but it is now being said that Xiaomi might stick to a 1080p display instead, which shouldn’t matter much since the display is expected to be only 5.1-inches.
