At its annual European Forum this week, Samsung released several new monitors, which the company says use state-of-the-art components and simplistic designs. Here’s the rundown:
UE850 UHD. This business monitor uses PLS panel technology so you can view the screens horizontally and vertically at angles up to 178 degrees. UHD resolution is four times greater than standard Full HD, and the monitor has a height-adjustable stand and multi-device connectivity.
SE370. This monitor is available in 23.6- and 27-inch models and has built-in wireless charging capabilities with a wireless charging pad that works with Qi-compatible mobile devices. Eye Saver and flicker-free technologies help to reduce eye strain.
CF591 and CF390. These curved monitors match the natural shape of the human eye for a more natural viewing experience, Samsung says. Both monitors have features designed to reduce visual fatigue, including flicker-free and Eye Saver technologies that work to maintain presentation consistency and reduce eye strain. The AMD FreeSync technology over HDMI functionality synchronizes the screen refresh rate to an AMD graphics card for less input latency, stutter, and lag. The monitors have a wide 178-degree viewing angle.
