Sanskrit Mandatory In IIT’s and NIT’s

All IIT’s, NIT’s, IIIT’s and other universities are likely to get a separate Sanskrit Cells to facilitate study of science and technology in Sanskrit Literature.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has also been given the instruction to set up separate norms for assessing Sanskrit Institutions.

This is in view of the recommendations of the N Gopalaswami Committee set up by the ministry of human resource development to suggest a long-term vision and road map for development of Sanskrit language

This is a great move as Sanskrit has already been proclaimed as one of the most machine friendly language and hence there needs to be some action take on this.
